Pyramid of the Feathered Serpent at the ruins of Xochicalco near Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. Xochicalco flourished between 700 and 900 AD and was once one of the most important ciities in Mesoamerica. Xochicalco was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. This structure is a good example of talud-tablero style architecture, which was common throughout ancient Mesoamerica.
